I thought it was love
When we used to laugh together
Though the joke was always on me

I thought it was love
When you introduced me to your friends
And we spent hours together
Laughing, and having the time of our lives
Though the joke was always on me
…
But then I realised
That you actually thought me a fool
That you relished making fun of me
In front of your friends
In front of everyone
I thought it was love
But the joke was on me
…
But I forgive you
For you weren’t laughing
When I stabbed you
A hundred times
You didn’t laugh
When I exchanged
Your laughter for screams
You didn’t laugh
When I wrote on the wall
With your very blood
LOL
I thought it was love
Now the joke’s on you
