A storm passed me by
Left me hurt and wounded
Yet I sang my song
For love still remained
A storm passed me by
Left me empty-handed
Yet I sang a song
For love still remained
Now no matter what storm passes
I will sing my song
There’s nothing more to lose
Love remains

  2. Thank you for the like on my first post. This poem is very nice. It cuts to the core of me, in this moment. For me though, the storm is what originally taught me love, so I don’t know if I can still sing.. yet
