If
You make yourself accustomed
To the sight of Death
The sight of her running a show
Every day and every night
Inside your little head
…
Then
Death will not frighten you
Nor strike a tingling sensation
In your spine
For you will already be dead
Inside your little head

That last line is brilliant!!ππ» Once again death as a female persona….interesting!ππ

I beg to differ, living like you’re dead could actually make life seem sad and totally irrelevant but I guess it’s only a poem.

Very nice, Frank. That is really true as well. It is quite timely these days.

“you can’t die without living” I just read that in another post and it seemed complimentary to this post.

You just reminded me why I stopped paying attention to the 24 hour news cycle, Frank. Thanks!
