A Walking Talking Wonder Of The World

I’ve had my heart broken
So many times that I’ve lost count
I know that you are different
I feel bright when you’re around
So I fold my hands and pray
And I hope that you will stay
And I will give all my love to you
Nothing else that I wanna do
For you’re a walking talking wonder of the world
Not an ordinary girl
A walking talking wonder of the world

Every thing that I am seeking
Is kept safe within your heart
When I’m sitting with you
Girl, I never want to part
For you’re a walking talking wonder of the world
Not an ordinary girl
A walking talking wonder of the world

I’ve had my heart broken
But you’ve put it back together
I need to be with you
Now and then and forever
It is sad that they can’t see
How beautiful you are to me
Well their loss is my gain
Why then should I complain?
For you’re a walking talking wonder of the world
Not an ordinary girl
A walking talking wonder of the world

  1. There is a veil of mystery surrounding your beautiful poem. You lost your true love not just once. You put your entire trust in the Walking Talking Wonder of the World. I was expecting to read another stanza revealing the mystery. Perhaps the open-endedness was deliberate?
