There Will Come A Day

I believe that there will come a day
I believe with all my heart
When all our troubles will sink
To the bottom of this sea called Time
Lose themselves in the unfathomable depths
Or be eaten by mysterious creatures

I believe that there will come a day
My vision shall not fail me
When the seed of love begins to sprout
Upwards and upwards into the sky
With firm roots hidden underneath
Forming a solid foundation

I believe that there will come a day
I have eternal hope within me
When the stars align themselves perfectly
Pouring down serenity from the heavens
For us to collect in baskets
To store and use as we may please

I believe
I believe
With honesty and sincerity
In the power of the future
In Time’s ability to change
To flow from east to west
And sometimes from west to east
I believe in that future
And the future’s beautiful
And the future’s ours
