There is something about her
That I can’t quite express
She’s a little mystery
I’ll never solve I guess
Is it the lovely curls
Stretching from her hair
That makes my heart go squishy
As I touch her there?
Is it the way she smiles
The smile of an angel true
That leaves me mesmerised in
A way no one else could do?
Is it the words she says
Those whispers in my ears?
I know I’m in love when
My sorrow disappears
Or it could be something else
So charming her appeal
I may never know it
But I will always feel
I may be wiser than most
Or simply plain ignorant
This mystery I’d rather hope to
Leave it unexplained

“…That makes my heart go squishy…” What a great line, I love it!

Yes, you might be disappointed if you knew. I think that all women should have a little mystery about them. 🙂❤
