The Wolves Have Surrounded Us

The wolves have surrounded us
With fiery eyes they stalk
In the quiet of a moonless night
Hear their hunger talk
Yesterday it was our fellow men
Who fought against the beasts
Alas they lost and so today
We’re no more than their feast
