I never really liked kids Until I had a couple of my own Seeing them run around the house No greater pleasure I’ve known I delight in their company I read them stories till it’s late I’m glad to have had a change of heart It’s the adults I now hate
An excellent poem Frank! Gave me a giggle. As a young person, I was also not keen on kids until I had my own. In later life you realise that kids are such a joy but adults … not so much. People are bloody disappointing. Pity most people grow up. I am determined not to!
This reminds me of the saying don’t knock it until you try it. Lovely poemπ
