There lies a broken bottle Shattered on the floor I drank from it when in love Now I don’t need it anymore I need to tread the floor with care When I ‘wake up’ from the bed The shards wont hurt my sole Shall prick my heart instead. LikeLiked by 3 people Reply
Love as a broken bottle… on the floor… in one man’s drunk-no-more store. Scattering shards across the internets… Perhaps liking poems it now abhors? Could always just put the bottle down instead of smashing it… but then perhaps it wouldn’t pour. LikeLiked by 4 people Reply
This would be an epic one,if you can add more lines to this poem

Broken bottle, busted heart,
Cheap liquor, cheaper tart.
