Yesterday wasn’t exactly the kindest to me

I suffered, I begged, I screamed in misery

I felt so alone despite being so free

Distance doesn’t help no matter what they say

I’d even call the angels down if I may need to

I can crawl all the way till I’ve scarred my knees

I’ll get to you no matter where you may be
