I wrote a poem in love
When the heart was full and brimming
Now that the heart is empty
The poem holds no meaning

Love is like faith. Nothing done in faith is done in vain. A poem, kind and loving words, a gentle caress, a smile, in love always remain within. Love hurts but rarely does anything of worth not have some sort of cost. Watch the heart though, it is deceitful above all things.
I like the piece.

Your poems have been melancholic of late. I wish you the very best – remember, if the ending is not happy then it is not the end of your story. Wishing you new beginnings and
a happy ending.
