A villain can be a villain
All by itself
It doesn’t need a hero
For validation
A hero, on the other hand,
Needs a villain
More than anything else
More than a comrade
More than a superpower
More than a lover
It can be an arch enemy or
A force of nature or
Simply someone with contrasting goals
Hell, the villain can be the hero itself
Its own dark spirit
Its own struggle and turmoil within itself
A villain can exist by itself
A hero can’t
It’s the villain who makes a hero

Yeah, so true. It makes the line “You can’t have the good without the bad” an accurate representation of how life works. Good job, Frank!

Like light and dark; they coexist, but the power of light is greatly magnified as it penetrates into the darkness.

Brilliant take! I truly never thought of it like that before.

Villains are heroes in their own minds, and their logic seems to be more sound than that of the ‘super’. Good post!

I guess that is true, Frank.

Is an anti-hero a villain? To some yes,but others no.

I agree, as long as it’s a superhero and not a regular hero. A regular hero can save a dog from a frozen lake.
Superhero – Villain = 2.
