I see the world through it
It helps me interpret it
It lives inside of me, guides me
Shows me what is right and wrong
Leads me to the chosen path
It handles tasks I am incapable of
Digests my food
Regulates my temperature
Circulates my blood
It takes care of me
It knows all that I have ever done
Everything that I have ever seen
Heard, smelled or spoken
Every good deed and bad
Every mistake and achievement
Every joy and every pain
It remains by my side
Without it I am nothing
With it I come into existence

Amen!you have made Him your choice!

Another great post and recording. Some brains are better than others so they say. But my brain belongs to me and me alone…which is a big responsibility. (just thoughts as I listened)
I don’t think you have ever visited my blog. This month (October) I am posting about Spooky Things which also includes what people believe. I tend to post toward the silly side. I invite you to my blog and to follow if you like. 🙂

It saves me, take care of me and stay by my side. others don’t, they break, betray, do harm, cause harm, etc.

The brain is very useful, but always needs a heart in the backyard.

Not to forget, it manages the whole circadian rhythm.
Anyways you should have mentioned “free will” somewhere. The most important thing that distinguishes us from other species.

Free will? I am not so sure about that. If the brain is in control then “I”, or whoever that is, has no free will. Or is the control partly shared between the mind and the brain? Either way, the most important thing about us is perhaps also the most mysterious

You are right. Its control is partly shared between mind and the brain. The decision making process (e.g. should I eat it or not) and the discretion (to stay away from it) is quite interesting.
