I want to see you
As you were when I was born
As you raised me
As beautiful as you always were
Smiling
But it’s too late now
I want to tell you
How much you mean to me
How much I miss talking to you
How lonely it is without you
How incomplete life feels
But it’s too late now
I want to listen
To your stories
About your struggles
About your wishes and dreams
To everything that you have to say
But it’s too late now
A very well done poem, it touched my heart.

Yet, if you and your loved one belong to the Lord Jesus Christ, then you’ll see each other again. Your separation is but a brief moment, then your joy will be restored, if you’ve accepted Jesus Christ. This should bring solace and give you hope as you anticipate your reunion with your loved ones that went home to be with the Lord.

Missing the one gone
A human trait that wears the crown.
We cherish memories of loved ones
And oft times ignore living ones

A feeling of regret is not quite wonderful when we look back at the past.

True regrets are not the best feelings yet we keep dwelling in our past every so often.
It makes us miserable too.
