You cannot tell him off. He can.
You cannot take the weekend off. He can.
You cannot be sarcastic. He can.
You cannot be funny. He can.
Most importantly, you cannot be calling in sick. He can.

The boss can also get blamed, reprimanded, and possibly fired for not balancing the books, or meeting earnings/sales expectations.

Ah, the timeless āHe can, you cannotā rulebook of corporate life! š Sometimes I feel organizations should just print this as the official employee handbook. Would save us all the trouble of figuring it out the hard way. Sharp observation, and so relatable! š
