When Winter refuses to tidy up
Leaving her white blanket
Sprawling as far as the eye can see
Mother Nature must pull her ears
Give her a proper scolding and
Let her know that playtime’s over
Take your snowflakes and your ice
And all your other frigid friends
And be off to sleep
Be kind now and let your sister, Spring
Have her fun too
She’s been waiting patiently for months
Spring makes her way to the ground
Riding on a fiery, red dragon
Leaving a trail of lanterns and crackers
The flowers join her party
They gather in a parade
And dance for months on end

Well written, Frank. Belated Lunar New Year to you!

It’s Chinese/Vietnamese New Year today! It’s also the Year Of The Dragon! Happy New Year! It’s perfect that you posted a poem, and picture, about a dragon!
