Don’t Be Like Elena

Hey girls, you can be what you want
Anything and everything
But don’t be like Elena
She’s a drama queen

Elena is a real pain
She can be quite mean
She thinks I’m ugly
Dressed up for Halloween
We broke up last week
Now she’s with another guy
While I’m fighting the blues
Oh, it makes me cry
I can be childish
In my own ways
But that don’t mean she stops
Talking with me for days
Right now I am hurt
Wishing she was with me
While she may have forgotten
What we used to be

So girls you can be what you want
Anything and everything
But don’t be like Elena
She’s a drama queen

The Quiet Night Has A Message

The quiet night has a message
The roads are calm and serene
The leaves have all turned pale
From the afternoon’s green
In contrast my dejected heart
Fights a hundred battles
Hear the cries and screams
Hear the rales and rattles
Lying in my bed I wonder
As in two pieces I am torn
If my heart will make it through
The light of next day morn’

I’d Never Forget You

Look back upon the flying time
How swiftly it went
Strongly etched in this heart of mine
The memories we spent
Now that we’re no longer together
Distant and apart
My heart beats now even stronger
Yearning for your heart
I know that your heart misses me
Mine misses you too
I know you’d never forget me
And I’d never forget you

Six Words Story #1

Some love stories are better incomplete

I Left The Window Open

I left the window open
And off I went to sleep
My mind was still quite active
In a slumber all too deep
And in my dreams I saw
All creatures, big and small
Entering through my window
Some I can’t recall
I saw a genie and a frog
Who claimed to be my wife
I thought I saw God and
Death came to take my life
I partied with a monster
I flirted with a thought
Saw day turn into night time
Enjoying myself a lot
That was as much as I
Can recollect and remember
It was like me sleeping
From January to December
When I woke up in the morning
The window was well shut
The creatures were all waiting
It was a dream but…

I Left The Window Open And A Monster Came In

I left the window open
And a monster came in
Then the monster began
Multiplyin’
First there were two
Then three and then four
Soon there were so many
I couldn’t keep the score
I didn’t know what to do
With so many monsters in sight
So I turned on the music
And we partied all night

I Left The Window Open And Death Came In

I left the window open
And death came in
With a weighing scale
For my virtues and my sins
I checked the clock. It was
A quarter past two at night
My wife was sleeping next to me
So I didn’t turn on the lights
Death granted me a final wish
As she forced me up from my bed
I grabbed the opportunity
“Can you take my wife instead?”

I Left The Window Open And In Came Death

I left the window open
And in came death
She showed me her wristwatch
And counted my pending breaths
I said, “I am too busy
I have a poem to write
We can go out later
How about Friday night?”
She had a serious look upon her
She gave me a blank stare
She had her motorbike ready
To take me away from there
She grabbed my hand to force me
I was firm in my stand
I tried reasoning with her
She failed to understand
I punched her in the face
And then in the gut
A lightning quick kung-fu kick
A jab and an upper cut
She finally admitted defeat
Sped away on her bike
But not before expressing
Towards me a strong dislike
I couldn’t care less about her
She may think of me as a nut
I had a poem to finish
So I slammed the window shut

I Left The Window Open And A Million Dollars Flew In

I left the window open and a million dollars flew in
I couldn’t believe my luck so I started countin’
It was really a million dollars so I started dreamin’
Oh the dreams I had as the million dollars flew in
So began my daydreamin’
I started plannin’ and schemin’
How it would be accruin’
The million dollars that flew in
But before I got into thinkin’
How I would be eatin’ drinkin’
And what else I’d be doin’
Of the million dollars that flew in
The million dollars flew out
Just as they blew in, they blew out
There was very little I can do about
The million dollars that flew out

I Left The Window Open And A Croaking Frog Jumped In

I left the window open
And a croaking frog jumped in
I was startled as always
This was just the beginnin’
She found a place on my desk
Asked me if I had any memory
Whether I had seen her before
Did she look familiar to me?
She kept talking about things
Reincarnations and past life
Seems I married her ages ago
She was my rightful wife
She looked at me with wide eyes
Asked what I was to do about
I picked her gently in my arms
And I threw the croaking frog out
