An old man with an old heart
Lost his teeth but he loves to start
A raging war against anyone who’s brought about this mess
A buried mind and a buried soul
Searching for a pot of gold
Thinking it will lead him to a key to happiness
Not one to forget
No, not just yet
He keeps his mind occupied
With scenes of crime
That he’s never done
Not one to regret
No, not just yet
His tears have dried
With passing time
All alone
Let’s be honest for once, let’s be true
I’m so glad I’m me
And you are you

An aching heart and an aching knee
Drowning deep in self misery
But he’s not the kind of guy who holds it back
A strange land and a stranger man
Losing sleep every now and then
Close your eyes and you’ll have your dreams painted black
Not one to forget
No, not just yet
His grizzly hair is filled
With dancing bees
But he doesn’t mind
Not one to regret
No, not just yet
His aching heart has willed
Against his knee
Too unkind
Let’s be honest for once, let’s be true

Time has come and time has gone
With no reason why he was ever born
Maybe the conjurer will someday read his tale
The man was there but now he’s gone
No one bothers to drop him home
Only an astronaut can now see him sail

      1. Hobby is fine… But I would recommend you should publish it… They are good… In fact awesome. It’ll give you copyright also. Then all your work will be in a hard bound form… You never know… It might be a best seller…. Even if it’s not… At least it’ll be yours legally. I just got my first book published… Not for sales purpose, but when they sell….it feels good. But now my work is copyrighted…
