Stella

Take me to another world

Away from here

Away from these mortals

Bound by fate and fear

Where time stands still

Souls are set free

Pain’s o’er the hill

There I wanna be

Where worlds collide

Space echoes

Numbers are

The only foes

Where dreams are real

Love is true

Truth is pure

And passion too

Where dreams are real

Love is true

There I’ll wait

I’ll wait for you

Fare Thee Well

I had everything I wanted and happiness too

Now it’s all gone away except loneliness and you

I’ve got a house to run and bills to pay

Leave the loneliness behind but you be on your way

There are lessons here one must learn

It’s all over now, baby we’re done

Do you remember the time when we used to dance in the air?

Break all the rules and not give a care?

I only remember you nagging all day and snoring all night

Baby, don’t you understand I want you out of my sight

Darling, it has ceased to be fun

I hate to say it, but baby we’re done

We’ve changed a lot and you know it very well

I’ve been ignoring you, it isn’t hard to tell

Instead of hugs and kisses, we yell

It used to be a paradise but now it’s a living hell

Do you still think I’m the one?

Come on say it now, baby we’re done

For once let us give truth a chance

More than false hope and ugly romance

I’ve lost my smile and every pence

And you’re making me lose all of my sense

I’ve said what I have to. Now it’s your turn

Don’t bother me now, baby we’re done

It’s not like I didn’t give it a try

But couldn’t answer my heart when he asked why

Perhaps we were never meant to be

We’ll go our separate ways for it’s the land of the free

And if you get bored of yourself, here’s a gun

Shoot yourself or whatever, but baby we’re done

Asymmetric

I can’t figure

Who is more happier

The one with the bag?

Or the one in rag?

May God Be With You

Across the grave, they’ll knock my body down

And waste their tears on the holy ground

And for no reason as far as I can see

They’ll think I’m dead when instead I am free

And soon you’ll realize as I do

May God be with you too

reflection

Life of a Poet

And they ask me

“What do you do for a living?”

“I write poems.” I say.

“Nothing makes me feel more alive.”

The Swindler

I know just who you are

No need to deceive. Don’t even try

You came in like a storm

Left without a goodbye

And while you were going

You left the ruins behind

Left me to pick up the pieces

For what I was destined

I know just who you are

It isn’t hard to see

Not so sure about others

Who are spellbound by thee

I should have been wiser

I had been warned

Couldn’t even think straight then

Of you i was so fond

I know just who you are

From the company you keep

Bitches and vixens

Black cat and a creep

They further your cause

And get your dark side out

I tried to change you for good

Of no use, I found out

I know just who you are

And i know what you do

All your secrets are revealed

And everything you’re up to

You seek attention

Love the limelight

You think it’ll last forever

You’re as blind as night

I know just who you are

Don’t pretend to be otherwise

Its crystal clear now

I can see it in your eyes

You’re nothing but a swindler

And stealing is your art

Take anything you want

But give me back my heart

I can live with the scar

I know just who you are

Comfortably Dumb

Hell-o
Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me.
Are you really a moron?

Come on now
I hear you’re feeling down
Well, I can ease your pain
Admit you’re a fool again

Relax
I’ll need some information first
Just the basic facts
Just how big a dunce you are?

There is much pain, you are providing
A distant ship sank on your ignorance
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move but I don’t wanna hear what you’re saying
When I was a child I had a disorder
My friends were just like two buffoons
Now I’ve got that feeling once again
I can’t explain, you would not understand
This is not how you were
You might become comfortably dumb

You have become comfortably dumb

O.K.
Just a little pin prick
There’ll be no more aaaaaaaah!
Even I’m getting a little sick

Can you stand up?
I do believe it’s working, good
That’ll cure, you nincompoop
Come on, it’s time to go.

There is much pain, you are providing
A distant ship sank on your ignorance
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move but I don’t wanna hear what you’re saying
When I was a child
I caught a halfwit oaf
Tried to give him a piece of my mind
I turned to look but he was gone
I cannot raise my finger now
The child’s not grown
Perhaps I was wrong
You always were comfortably dumb

Royal Blood

Breathe in all the perfumes of Arabia

Breathe out your nasty pride

Dressed in royal blood you come

Hiding all the evil inside

120

What is all this fuss about?

Did you hurt a toe?

Someone will have to pay a price

I can hear your pain echo

You attract eyes

Like money attracts crooks

How hollow their hearts are

How shallow your looks

24

You put all the men to work

Until your dreams are found

I wonder how far you keep

Your feet off the ground

They’re honored by your presence

They love to be part of the show

You laugh and smile with them

But you’re really mocking them, I know

123

Enjoy the summer while you can

It’s not long before winter sets in

All the mirrors then, would be shattered

When you yearn to see yourself smile again

02

You’d watch as they leave you

After thanking you for being rude

You’d beg for company

But you’d die in solitude

Rabbits And Cages Here Eternally Lost

Several years must have passed me by

Since the last time that I met her

Believe me when I say, the more I try

The harder it gets to forget her

She was wearing red and I was dressed in joy

Never got so excited ere, like a little boy

The day was splendid

Not a single cloud in the sky

I can’t remember a more sunny day

In the middle of July

There was hope in the air and the birds were singing true

Maybe later sparks would fly and bells would ring too

I was listening as she spoke

About life, love, rabbits and cages

It’s amazing how she had so much to talk about

It’s like we hadn’t met for ages

Destiny had brought us here after all these years

And now she must lead the way, away from all our fears

In the middle of it all

The old wounds were opened again

I looked skyward and prayed

And asked Him to throw down some rain

Put on your best dress and pour like you’ve never poured before

Just set the scene for me alright, there’s nothing I want more

There was so much happening around us

But all I noticed was her pleasant smile

Nothing seemed to matter anymore

Time, it seemed, had stopped awhile

There was no one between us except confusion and doubt

My heart was writing sonnets but no words ever came out

What was i to do?

Was it the right time to profess?

The emotions of past swerved inside

And left me stranded, I must confess

The end was near. There wasn’t much to analyse

Destiny and rain had betrayed me. It didn’t take long to realize

The castles had been blown away

Like tiny grains of sand

Maybe it was never meant to be

The time had come for us to part

My faith in God was shaken

For leaving me with an empty heart

Nature can be cruel, I cursed the mocking sky

Not a souvenir to take home as I watched the moment die

We didn’t even kiss goodbye

We just waved our hands

walk-away

Lie Amongst The Wreck

On her head you would find a crown of bones

And in her eyes you would see your fate

The wind carries the echoes of her voice

From the flaming Hell to Heaven’s gate

You would lose your ground beneath your feet

As her smile would turn you pale and white

She would lead you to the darkest cave

Where there’s not a ray of light

She would clean up your sins for you

With the very hands that have played

A cruel trick on kings and clowns

Who at her feet are equal made

The world will continue to be

But you will never be the same

When she opens up that book of hers

And calls out your name

Then she’ll come to get you

You’ll find her hand clutch your neck

And your soul will find a new home

For your body will lie amongst the wreck
