Years have come and years have gone
No lessons I have learned
Playing with fire is a passion
All my thoughts inside are burned
…
Days have come and days have gone
Very little to be said
Old demons have lost the war
And have ended up dead
…
Nights have come and nights have gone
Left here to my fate
Nobody here to hurt me anymore
New demons I now create
Great poem …I guess the message is …beware the demons we create ourselves and neutralise the damn things:D:D …not always easy tho:)

An interesting development on Stephen Crane ‘In the Desert’. Well done.

OR NOT. It’s a choice. 100% of the time. I spent much of my life fighting demons of one sort or another.
No longer. My moments belong to me. 🙂

We create our own demons and we need to take care of them. Creating the demons always an unnecessary waste.

I loved the 3 stanzas only and the rhyme pattern. Great piece of writing here.
