Whisper In My Ear

Where do we go
To find that inner peace?
Where the body isn’t a prison
The soul is set to release?

Where do we go
To find happiness?
In a land of preachers
Where disciples are blessed?

Where do we go
To find true love?
Should we wait until
We learn to fly above?

Where do we go
To find all that we need?
Can the fruits of all the trees
Be gained by a single seed?

Where do we go?
Where do we go from here?
If you know the answer
Would you whisper in my ear?

  1. I’m on the same quest – the answers are within – we have it all but we spend our lives searching outside – and looking out…
My journey is difficult but this time I’m determined…

  2. I like this poem a lot. We all have questions and sometimes poetry is the best way to ask, even when we aren’t expecting answers. Keep up the good work and keep being “frank” with us. 🙂
Also, thanks for recently stopping by The Fruitful Life and liking a post there. Blessings to you.

  3. O yes! I know the answer. And so do you! The answer is within your heart. No need to go anywhere like we all do! lol The answer is within our hearts. He whispers that answer to our ears big time, every single moment, always…That’s why we met? Hahaha! HalleluYah. So glad for your visit.

      1. No worries, you liked my post. First person to ever like a blog post. It’s a new thing, for me, blogging…So you just brought me ‘first’ luck. And then on top, great poems. Thanks again
