Shape Poem #1

Let us play a game
I want you to guess
My
Name
Come on, it is not
That difficult, is it?
I’ve
Given
You
A
Start

From One Rainbow To Another

I’ve been hopping all my life
From one rainbow to another
Sliding along the curves, hoping
I’ll land upon a pot of gold

With every failure now I know
How my hopes have begun to fade
Every disappointment, every loss
Is now etched upon my fate

Still I dream, still I dream
For these dreams are all I have
Still I hope, still I hope
As I climb another bow

Love Me Once Love Me Twice

Love me once, love me twice
Take me on a trip to paradise
If you wish the moon
I’ll bring it to you
If you love me once, love me twice

Hold my hand, snatch my heart
Outta my chest tear it apart
Give me pain
I won’t complain
If you love me once, love me twice

Take a punt, roll the dice
Smother my soul on a bed of lies
Close your eyes
I’ll name my price
If you love me once, love me twice

Bring Me My Girl

Bring me the scent of summer air
Bring me the sea-mermaid’s hair
Bring me the fragments of this world
Or simply bring me my girl

Bring me a song from a cuckoo’s nest
Bring me a pirate’s treasure chest
Bring me a mountain and a sea
Or simply bring my girl to me

Bring me sweet honey from a comb
Bring me pearls from an oyster’s womb
Bring me the magic in everything
Or simply to me my girl you bring

Maggie

Maggie was young and innocent
To look at she wasn’t nice
Daddy never talked to her
Mommy ignored her likewise
She never went to school
She wasn’t clever or wise
We never called her for lunch
Maybe because she had eight eyes

I know it wasn’t her fault
That she was born this way
Mommy was particularly scared
Whether it was night or day
Daddy never really bothered
Whether she was home or away
I never fancied my time
With her to spend or play

We killed her yesterday
No, it wasn’t a lot of fun
It would have been easier
Had she not tried to run
Don’t look at me like that
No good to judge someone
If you housed a spider
What would you have done?

How To Solve A Crossword Puzzle In Two Minutes

Don’t read the clues
Take someone’s help
Create your own words
Darken some squares

When She Walks

Every flower drops its petals
On her path as she walks
Yet she glides so gracefully
As if floating in air
It’s vain to try and catch her
She’s fleeting and elusive
Revel while she’s there
Happiness seldom lasts

Untitled #13

Hold your cards close to your chest
And a secret up your sleeve
Bluff a little and let the rest
Depend on how well you deceive

Karma Is An Accountant

Karma is an accountant
Who keeps detailed records
Of all human’s debits and credits
And then goes out of her way
To balance the books

I’m Karma’s Creditor

I was walking home at night
When along came a hoodie-man
He put a knife to my neck
And asked me quite impolitely
To empty my wallet

I laughed in his face
Said — “You don’t need no weapon
Put down your sharp toy
And be away with my wallet
I don’t mind at all.”

He looked at me, surprised
Like he was staring at an ape
Then he grabbed my cash and fled
After shoving me to the ground
I continued laughing

I pity the poor thief
Not for his lack of wealth
But for his lack of understanding
About this world of deeds
And action and karma

This world seems so beautiful
Ever since I’ve met my guru
Who taught me to look at life
In a new and positive way
The way of karma

He says that I am judged
For each of my action
My good deeds will be rewarded
My sins will be punished
Nothing goes in vain

Now that thief who stole from me
And ran off with my cash
He cannot go too far
Karma will get to him
She always does

For seven days straight
The guy’s been robbing me
I laugh at him each time
For he doesn’t have a clue
That he is being judged

I’m nearly out of money
But that is not a worry
I’ve gained enough credits by
Not refusing the poor man’s demand
I’m Karma’s creditor

I don’t believe in criminal laws
The police is not for me
I only believe in my actions
My guru and the invisible force of nature
That is karma
