Difference Between A Hero And A Villain

A villain can be a villain
All by itself
It doesn’t need a hero
For validation

A hero, on the other hand,
Needs a villain
More than anything else

More than a comrade
More than a superpower
More than a lover

It can be an arch enemy or
A force of nature or
Simply someone with contrasting goals

Hell, the villain can be the hero itself
Its own dark spirit
Its own struggle and turmoil within itself

A villain can exist by itself
A hero can’t
It’s the villain who makes a hero

Employees are Planets: Do You Identify As Earth?

In every organisation
There is a Goldilocks zone
It’s the management level
Where you are neither
Overburdened with work
Nor underpaid

In short it is the ideal job
Where work and pay
Combine to create the
Ultimate equilibrium in
This universe: worklife balance

That’s where Earth is —
In the goldilocks zone

At a perfect equilibrium
Allowing water to form
Allowing life to be born

Isn’t that the whole point really?
You can be as beautiful as Saturn
You can be as bright as Mercury and Venus
You can be as huge as Jupiter
But none of it counts if you have no life

That’s who Earths are: they have a life
They have a life outside of the organisation
They are not confined by the laws of the solar system
They do their work
They take their pay
They then go home and spend time with their loved ones
They have hobbies
They do what they like
They have time to do what they like
They are not caught up in making money
Their world doesn’t just revolve around a single star
Their world is rich, diverse and lush
Filled with stories, songs and seasons
Filled with exciting, epic experiences
Filled with lots of love and lots of life
Are you an Earth?

Employees Are Planets: Do You Identify As Mercury?

Time was great when you had her
But who cares now
You’re on top of the corporate ladder

Life is sad and is getting sadder
But who cares now
You’re on top of the corporate ladder

Chronic pain in back, neck and bladder
But who cares now
You’re on top of the corporate ladder

The world is mad and you are madder
But who cares now
You’re on top of the corporate ladder

Employees Are Planets: Do You Identify As Venus?

Second in the corporate ladder but you don’t care
You’re the hottest property out there

Dealing with high pressure like a sturdy man
You trap all the limelight you can

Never skipping work or doing anything wrong
Your days are unbelievably long

Your birthday’s up before the day comes to an end
You’re obviously a Venus, my friend

Employees are Planets: Do You Identify As Mars?

Has work for you stopped being fun?
Are you angry at everything that’s done?
Do you find yourself getting mad
At every little thing that’s said?
With your two juniors you are fed
Up; they make your face go red
Then by my astute calculation
You’re a Mars of the corporation

Employees Are Planets: Do You Identify As Jupiter?

You can be any type of employee you want to be
But don’t ever become a Jupiter
Please

Here’s why:

Jupiters are the middle-level managers
Who seem to have the most amount of work

Jupiters are the ones
With such a strong magnetic field
That they always find themselves
Attracting one project after another

Jupiters are the ones who are not even aware
Of the number of subordinates that report to them

There’s so much going around Jupiters
That nobody has bothered to take stock of things

Jupiters literally keep the company in shape
Without them the solar system would not be the same

Jupiters are the ones
With massive gas problem
Barely a wonder with all
The workload dumped on them

Jupiters take the fall for most of company’s failures
Who else would take the impact of the asteroids, comets and other celestial bodies?

Despite all this Jupiters barely get any sunlight
No recognition and average pay is their thing

Employees Are Planets: Do You Identify As Saturn?

You know you’re Saturn when
You’re having the most fun at work

I mean, other ladies have rings too
But yours are the only ones that get talked about

I mean, it also helps to have one hundred and forty six admirers circling around you all the time

Employees are Planets: Do You Identify As Uranus?

Employees are Planets: Do You Identify As Neptune?

Employees Are Planets: Do You Identify As Pluto?

Do you find yourself
Having no use for a tongue?
Are you at the very bottom
Of the corporate ladder rung?
Then I know
Yes I know
Oh I know
You’ve got to be Pluto

Is your company swimming
In piles and piles of cash
But the only things that get to you
Are demotions and cigarette ash?
Then I know
Yes I know
Oh I know
You have to be Pluto

Are you the only person
Who knows that you exist?
Are you the only person
Who gives a damn about this?
Then I know
Yes I know
Oh I know
You’re nothing but Pluto

Did they change the criteria
Of a legal employee?
You’re still paid your dues
But the perks are not free
Then I know
Yes I know
Oh I know
You have to be Pluto

Are you feeling cold?
Excluded and phony?
Or are you just feeling
A little too lonely?
Then I know
Yes I know
Oh I know
You’ve got to be Pluto
