Ah, the moon feels so close
I could snatch it from the sky
Hide it in my pocket where
Forever it will lie

Love Is A Sea

Endless and beyond
Take your boat out to sail
When the weather’s calm
The sea will be your home
The view will be magnificent
With gentle sunshine dripping overhead
You won’t find a more pleasant scene

Beware, though, the waters may get rough
Do not abandon your boat
Ride the troubled waves
To find where you stand
To understand your strengths
Suffer along with the sea
And emerge victorious

Once the weather is calm again
You will find yourself one with the sea
Nothing could break you now
An eternal bond in motion

Love Is A Mosquito

When you lay your guard down
Turn off all the lights
It comes and stings you

It takes time before you realise
The itch has captured you
It wouldn’t let you sleep in peace

You get up from your bed
Turn on the lights
Vainly look for the perpetrator

Disappointed, you get back in your bed
After the lights are turned off again
You promise yourself to take better precautions the next time

You lie awake
Thoughts circling your head
One hand scratching the itch

You begin to enjoy the itch
The stimulus grips you
You know it’s not right for you, but you secretly wish for more

You Are Special

Last night
Your absence struck me
Ripped and pricked me
I’m exposed
Sometimes
I lose track of time
I lose track of things
With eyes closed
I wish to tell you how lonely I am
I wish to tell you how special you are
For filling my heart with these emotions
When I thought I had turned to stone
Come back, come back
I am waiting for you
Come back, come back
This heart is missing you

This morn’
The bed lay empty
Silence brought me
Memories
Often
I sit and wonder
Think you’re gone for
Centuries
I wish to tell you how gloomy I am
I wish to tell you how precious you are
For filling my heart with these sensations
When I thought I had turned to stone
Come back, come back
I am waiting for you
Come back, come back
This heart is missing you
