If
Death is a guest
Who visits but just once
To all the good people
And all the bad ones
It doesn’t matter if you’re rich
Poor, filthy or clean
Healthy or unwell
Wide awake or in a dream
She’d meet you when she pleases
Knock heavily at your heart
Enter without permission and
Snatch your soul and then depart
Then
Would she be well greeted
If her visit was well announced
Or would she be most welcomed
If she dropped in unannounced?
Everyone’s equal in death eh? Great work my friend 👌I’m glad I checked my email now!

To a well organized mind, death is but the next great adventure.

Great thought! Very well written..Death could be a welcome guest…depending on how alive you still are…I have seen some in their final days, beg her to come in.

Lovely. Ever since reading The Sandman series I can only see death as a woman

Loved it!! 💖And found it doubly interesting that you perceive death in the female form…😊

Yes, the female perspective, ‘Mother Earth’ birth things and brings them home. ❤️

Interesting that you see Death as female. A lover, maybe?

Hmmm this year death is the “life” of the party. Invited or not.

I have never asked you this, and it makes no difference to me as a dedicated follower, but are you from the US, Canada, Australia or GB? Just curious.

Wow! The other side of the planet. Your English is superb; I never could have guessed. Well stay safe my friend. I have never been to India or Asia. Hopefully, someday.
