When I’m badly shaken
Feeling down and broken
Wondering if this is what I’m meant to be
Then I look to your side
My spirit rises inside
Nothing’s gonna fail if you’re with me
So I smile
Yes I smile for a while
For I have found my strength
And things are gonna change
No bad guy’s gonna hurt me
No weapon’s gonna cut me
I’m a hero; I’ll save the world
Because you’re my girl
No battle’s gonna wear me
No weapon’s gonna tear me
I’m a hero; I’ll save the world
Because you’re my girl

If we’re caught in a storm
I’ll keep you safe and warm
No wound or bruise will ever touch your skin
I’ll break the storm into two
I’ll do whatever I need to
Your love’s the power that I store within
So I dream
Yes I dream for we’re a team
Of a place where safe you’d feel
Yes, I’m gonna make it real
No bad guy’s gonna hurt me
