I wake up in the middle of the night
With your thoughts in my head
I dream with open eyes
Lying in my bed
It’s strange what love can make you do
I never knew I had a heart too
Food does not interest me anymore
Your thoughts just fill my mind
I stare into the empty distance
I leave my lunch behind
It’s strange what love can make you do
I never knew I had a heart too
I can’t concentrate on work like before
I am supposed to be reading books
The only thing I can read now
Are your eyes and looks
It’s strange what love can make you do
I never knew I had a heart too
My depression days are far and gone
My insomnia days have come
I am not myself anymore
What have I become?
It’s strange what love can make you do
I never knew I had a heart too
Has my head stopped functioning?
I cannot really tell right now
I can feel my heart beating
I think I’m lost somehow

  2. I know this feeling you articulate so well, but you have captured the essence of it and expressed it so much clearer than I ever have. This entry reveals both the mysterious and the familiar simultaneously and the contrast is illuminating.

    I’ve been reading along here again recently and just noticed that I wasn’t following, but have corrected that now.

  11. Dekho na kya haal karkey gaye hain, aankhon ko namm or labo ko registaan kr gaye, iss tootey dil ko seeny mein dafan kr gaye, inn baaho.n mein bass tarap sama gaye, dekho na kyaa haal kar gaye…socha tha ki na sochengy , par haal dekho aisa ho gaya jaisa kabhi sochaa na tha
