How much do I love you?

Let me count the ways

I love you truer than true

Bluer than the ocean blue

Bluer than the skies of days

How much do I love you?

Let me give you a clue

My heart plays. My head obeys

I love you truer than true

Like only I could do

It’s more than just a passing phase

How much do I love you?

Enough to last a lifetimes few

A love that never ever strays

I love you truer than true

And I hope you love me too

For my love never decays

  18. Is it the first of October already? How much do I not love that you never told me; you left me to find out all by myself; and it’s not even true for me; you left me behind on the 30th September; last month to you; we are months apart;
