Staring at an endless sea
For as long as it could be
Dreaming with a heavy head
About all the things I never had
When the world would pass us by
Sit and talk and time would fly
Every song now reminds me of you
I wish they all would just come true
I may have lost my way now
But I will be back home
Will you be waiting at the door
When I will be back home?
…
So many things I’ve left behind
But you have never left my mind
Now it is our time to grow old
Time for the stories to be told
All the moments that we shared
All the hearts that really cared
There’s no hope here in this hole
But I will find it in my soul
I may have lost my way now
But I will be back home
Will you be waiting like before
When I will be back home?
You made me laugh out loud with the contrariness of that last reply, like the others that seem divorced from the reality of your writing , I wonder why the mystery, are you just simply unable to accept certain complimentary comments? hehe, haha, or are you pulling everyone’s leg for effect?

I just write what I feel. There is nothing more to it. Any other moment, I might have said something else. Something completely different. But at that moment, it seemed most apt

What I love in your poems is that they come straight from heart…. And have the ability to transfer me to a different world…

No, my poems don’t come from the heart. I don’t have one

It’s not easy. But it will set you free. Don’t worry about the other person. Do it selfishly.
