Every person that we meet at different age,
has some role, very vital to play,
they leave, to reveal the concealed in the chapter of your life, on the turned page,
In retrospection you feel the warmth and see them shine as brightest ray.
Bula Frank! Thank you for liking my posts. Much appreciated. I like the way you describe the emotion of loneliness here. Thank you for sharing your poetry.
could it be that the poet was so lonely , that he went to make friends a hundred
or so and in process lost his own self ….
(here referring to the self as only the most faithful one
the hundred friends could be the ones who influenced
him in a wrong way )
this is just one way of the interpretation of the poem…
This poem is… Wow… It made me realize how I’m not really alone, I’m just not satisfied, and if I keep it this way, it will cause my downfall someday too. Thank you for this!
I know the feeling as I am dealing with something similar myself. It’s not easy and the loneliness sucks. In time, things shall get better. Hope you keep yourself busy and surround yourself with positive people that care for you
Loneliness is inevitable.Everyone faces it at some point of time in his life. When time snatches away everything,it too can return back at some time. So, wait for the right moment! Short and true lines! 🙂
Your writing disturbs me, as I can’t decide if it is for real, your replies sometimes seem to be unnecessarily mysterious, like you are trying to hide, Cheers.
Or get overlooked. You tend to blame yourself a lot. Refreshing that someone actual takes responsibility, but some times you just get screwed without having caused anything. Regardless, when you find quality, hold on to it.
I agree with those above. This post is quite deep and thought-provoking.

Sounds like social media in a nutshell (at least, from my perspective). Nicely written.

It’s never to mend relations which mean the world to you. For who knows, if one would ever meet another one of the same fabric. 🙂

The way I see it as, loneliness isn’t real. We always have the most loyal person to ourselves; ourselves. We could never leave ourselves.
But this was beautifully written, it hit home for me. Definitely.

Fits right in with the tendency of today’s young people to “group” date. Can’t be done…successfully that is.

My suggestion?
If the poetry disturbs you, well, then don’t read it.
Simple!
WHY torment yourself?
Unnecessarily.
