  1. It’s never to mend relations which mean the world to you. For who knows, if one would ever meet another one of the same fabric. 🙂

  3. could it be that the poet was so lonely , that he went to make friends a hundred
or so and in process lost his own self ….
(here referring to the self as only the most faithful one
the hundred friends could be the ones who influenced
him in a wrong way )

this is just one way of the interpretation of the poem…

  4. The way I see it as, loneliness isn’t real. We always have the most loyal person to ourselves; ourselves. We could never leave ourselves.

But this was beautifully written, it hit home for me. Definitely.

  6. I know the feeling as I am dealing with something similar myself. It’s not easy and the loneliness sucks. In time, things shall get better. Hope you keep yourself busy and surround yourself with positive people that care for you

          1. Or get overlooked. You tend to blame yourself a lot. Refreshing that someone actual takes responsibility, but some times you just get screwed without having caused anything. Regardless, when you find quality, hold on to it.
