I wish I could sing
For my fellow men
And touch their hearts
Again and again
…
Fill their stomachs with my voice
Where there should be food
And though it may not be enough
It may atleast sound good
And play a soulful melody
For all the children who weep
And not stop until
I know they are fast asleep
…
I wish I could sing
For my fellow men
And touch their hearts
Again and again
…
There are homeless people out there
With not a place to stay
Music may not be their shelter
But it will surely make their day
Then there are those who are sick and injured
And going through a lot of pain
I’ll sing my songs to heal them
And I’ll sing them once again
…
I wish I could sing
For my fellow men
And touch their hearts
Again and again
I’ve been reading your blog for awhile now this evening. This one’s an uplifting note of hope a homeless person could wish to hear. Glad it was you who would say it.

music makes the world go round with every instrument comes a different sound

It is said man sang and laughed when he was in great pain. Looks true. Singing away the worries or the depression is the best way to soothe the nerves. May your wish come true…..

Love it. I agree that music is extremely powerful. It’s often been the only friend I’ve had through my darkest times.

You sing in a different way your words sing softly to the soul of those who would read and absorb. The vibrations from your words sing to everyone, this is your song. Finding your voice does not necessarily mean singing but using the right words, phrases to reach those it is intended for. Love it.
