              1. Anything with any melody or beat that can be qualified as actual art with adequate lyrics is fine with me. Tired of all the vulgarity getting to children’s ears and brainwashing adults into mindless sexual creatures. 😬😡😒😞 people need to snap out of it and not only take a look but actually see Wtf is going on around us.

  1. But now, reflect, from thirty years on,
    Each room breathes of my daughters, my son,
    Though from our home they all have gone.
    Photos stand among my books,
    Seaside shells in little nooks;
    Serving spoons on kitchen wall,
    And friend Frank, that is not all.
    Stored for years in the loft above
    Are things they need not but can’t shove:
    Toys that whisper words of love.

      1. then why did you like my comment. i meant that i have seen lots of poems and short phrases posted on various websites, popular and niche, and they all get lots of praise even though the actual content of whatever is being praised is like a generic yahoo horoscope entry or it looks like pandering to readers who just want an excuse to belong to a select group that praises soft and happy and unexplicit text.

  2. Thank you so much for checking out my blog! I am amazed that you are able to relay such thought and emotion into just four short lines; this poem really hits home for me.

  3. The people we love sure do fill the space in our homes and our hearts. I truly appreciate the people in my life for that reason. I could live anywhere as long as I have someone with whom I can share my soul. Starkly beautiful poem!
