If stars were to fall down on this street
Like leaves do when it’s Autumn
There’d be no need for bricks or concrete
All the bridges would be forgotten
…
No wonder all our friends and foes
Are gazing towards the sky
All the thorns of a lovely red rose
Are wrapped inside a lie
…
And though the girl with a broken tooth
Will cry out in pain
Her sister will speak the truth
And wait for the clouds to rain
…
For our last moment will be sealed
When we wave goodbye
For long, tomorrow can’t be concealed
We’d give it another try
How sad it is that some people don’t watch stars now. The real glory lies within. Btw creative work.😊

I almost considered using this in my sermon this weekend but the readings don’t quite match – rather I am Pressing it

I love your word-winding but I can never quite control my mind when reading. I always find my thoughts running down random little word triggered trails and by the time I get to the end I am lost in a forest of feeling.
