Do not worry about your final show
Your goodbyes were made
A long time ago
…
Do not worry about your friends and family
It will be taken care of
By destiny
…
If you had known your time had come
Would you have done
What is to become?
…
If you had known peace is on its way
Would you have betrayed it
For another day?
…
Into my paradise, you will find
You have paid
Your price in kind
…
Into my heaven, you put your feet
Five more breaths
Then we meet
My goodness, your writing is breath taking

Enjoyed this, it is not easy to write of death I think. This makes one ponder.

Beautiful, in a sense that it makes you want to make your peace already, ahead of time…

Morning Frank. This was very beautiful poem. Some times I think death isn’t natural, it to this day freaks me out to watch someone dying or draw their last breath. This poem gives us something to think about. Thank you for sharing.

As a retired Registered Nurse of 22 years I saw plenty of death. I didn’t make me ‘immune’ to the concept but it gave me perspective on the matter.
